Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement IT to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy for all IT services, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives and IT roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a long-term procurement strategy for IT services that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and IT roadmap.
- Supplier Management
- Establish and manage relationships with key IT service providers, ensuring that they meet the company's quality, performance, and compliance standards.
- Contract Negotiation
- Negotiate and manage contracts for IT services, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that maximize value and minimize risk.
- Cost Management
- Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as supplier consolidation, reverse auctions, and contract renegotiations.
- Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT service procurement, including vendor performance, data security, and compliance.
- Compliance
- Ensure that all IT service procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Innovation
- Stay abreast of emerging IT technologies and trends, and identify opportunities to leverage procurement to drive innovation and improve business outcomes.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of procurement professionals responsible for IT service procurement.
Requirements
- A degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Master's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on IT services.
- Strong understanding of IT services, including cloud, software licensing, hardware procurement, cybersecurity, and IT outsourcing.
- Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Experience in a regulated industry, such as pharmaceuticals, is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
