Key Responsibilities

In the role of Lead Solutions Architect & Consultant, you will be instrumental in guiding major organizations through their digital evolution. Your expertise will serve as a vital link between business frameworks and technological solutions, where you will be accountable for architecting a variety of services, products, and software systems. As an innovator and strategic thinker, your insights will empower product teams to enhance their efficiency and security while steering clear of rigid solutions that may stifle creativity.

  • Refinement of requirements, including functional necessities, quality attributes such as security and usability, cost considerations, and IT objectives like Cloud, DevOps, Event Streaming, and API Enablement.
  • Creation of architectural documentation and software artifacts to facilitate the deployment process.
  • Oversight of solution architecture in alignment with both technical and commercial standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT project architectures, with proactive identification and resolution of potential challenges.
  • Consulting at the executive level and assisting in the management of software digitalization initiatives.
  • Advising stakeholders on the definition of functional and technical requirements and ensuring effective communication with all parties involved.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as an IT Architect (e.g., Enterprise Architect, IT Solutions Architect) with a focus on technical governance, innovation, integration, and cloud strategies.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end architecture and application design across multiple platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with agile development teams.
  • Proficient in creating process documentation, technical manuals, and user guides.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and the technical acumen to identify risks, propose immediate solutions, and guide computer system implementations.
  • Expertise in designing and deploying REST APIs and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures, as well as SDLC pipelines and deployment/configuration processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of system integration, IT standards, architectural principles, and the establishment of Service Level Agreements.
  • Emphasis on reusing components within architectural designs.
  • Experience in software deployment, including CI/CD and related DevSecOps practices, along with familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Strong principles in software design and development, optimized for system stability, reusability, and performance.
  • Understanding of application testing, diagnostics, and performance enhancement.
  • Experience in selecting and integrating Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer software, hardware, and programming languages.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to lead and mentor team members on software and computer architecture projects in an agile environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities to ensure projects remain within budget and timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical stakeholders.
