About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our cross-functional agile Android Mobile Development team at Media Applications SE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new functionalities for our email and cloud apps, utilizing leading-edge technologies and contributing to technical decisions and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, structured, testable, and maintainable code in Kotlin for our email and cloud apps.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews, peer programming, and technical discussions to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with product owners and UI/UX teams to enrich our products with innovative features and provide technically sound feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Android development, applying this knowledge to improve our apps and services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in native Android software development.
- Strong knowledge of software design and architecture principles, Kotlin, and Android-specific technologies (e.g., Jetpack, Coroutines, Dagger2).
- Excellent understanding of unit and integration testing, continuous integration, and delivery.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and UI testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multinational, cross-functional Scrum team.
