We are looking for a committed Tank Container Fleet Manager to oversee our tank container fleet effectively and efficiently to satisfy client requirements. If you possess a strong interest in logistics and strategic planning, we would be delighted to welcome you to our organization.
- Strategic Planning: Formulates and executes strategies for the optimal use of the tank container fleet to align with customer needs.
- Collaboration: Works closely with sales and operations teams to anticipate demand and plan fleet capacity accordingly.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluates and interprets fleet performance metrics to pinpoint improvement opportunities and enact necessary adjustments.
- Record Keeping: Ensures precise documentation of fleet usage and performance statistics.
- Maintenance Coordination: Liaises with maintenance teams to guarantee the availability of tank containers as per schedule.
- Relationship Management: Cultivates and sustains partnerships with clients and suppliers.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Engages with various departments to ensure streamlined and effective operations.
- Strategic Initiatives: Participates in the formulation and execution of operational strategies and initiatives.
- Tracking Updates: Regularly updates the container tracking system and generates equipment status reports to ensure timely updates by the entire operations team.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in problem-solving and adept at managing customer concerns.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to dynamic challenges.
- Strong prioritization skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in both German and English.
