About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team at Kaufland e-commerce. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying and approaching top international online sellers and brands to improve the breadth and depth of our marketplace's assortment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new sellers and brands to sell on our online marketplaces
  • Monitor and analyze the competition to identify potential partners and opportunities
  • Support our sellers commercially and technically to ensure their success on our platform
  • Convert ideas from our sellers into new features and improvements to enhance their experience
  • Present our marketplace on site at international e-commerce trade fairs to showcase our offerings
  • Collaborate closely with technology, marketing, and product data management teams to drive business growth
Requirements
  • University degree or commercial apprenticeship
  • Professional experience in the e-commerce sector, preferably in sales or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and convince others
  • Proactive attitude and strong team spirit to drive business results
  • Creative mindset and analytical strength to drive innovation and improvement
  • Excellent English skills, with other languages an additional advantage
  • French language skills an asset
