Program Manager

Garrett - Advancing Motion is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead new product development projects across multiple geographical regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multi-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting business and customer expectations.

• Initiate and plan projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, financial summaries, technical information, manufacturing, and supplier strategy.
• Develop detailed project plans with allocated resources and deliverables, aligning with customer development and linked base product development key milestones.
• Maintain project plans regularly, escalating any deviations to the customer and key stakeholders.
• Deliver projects to commitment, implementing a robust review mechanism with stakeholders to execute the agreed plan.
• Manage customer change requests and identify and deploy project modifications following the NPI change management process.
• Monitor and achieve program management KPIs, driving customer satisfaction and seeking regular feedback on launch performance.
• Assess and identify risks, anticipating them into planning, mitigating risks, and escalating to leadership when required.
• Plan, secure, and control product cost evolution and project budget and resources expenses, including customer funding.
• Delegate efficiently to team members and stakeholders, holding them accountable to agreed targets, resolving conflicts, and motivating the team to adhere to the agreed plan.
• Report accurate forecasts of project portfolios, monitoring implementation, and escalating deviations to the leadership team.
• Lead regular project reviews with stakeholders, preparing and presenting formal status reports to relevant committees, and obtaining approval at key project phase gate exit reviews.

• University degree or post-graduation in Engineering, Management, or Business Administration.
• Program management experience (10+ years) or relevant experience in a similar function.
• Strong knowledge in program management discipline, including multi-system integration, scope and schedule management, and product development.
• Basic understanding of product/technical background to handle technical topics with the engineering/NPI team.
• Customer-facing working experience is a plus.
• Good insight into financial drivers, at ease with relevant financial metrics, strategy, and marketing planning.
• IT skills, including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and A-spice/Jira.
• Foreign language - English fluent, German welcome.
• Multitask on multi-projects, multi-customer, multi-region, and multi-technologies.
• Six Sigma Certified (nice to have).
• Program Management Professional Certification Preferred (nice to have).
