The AVIOVA Aviation+Innovation GmbH, a branch of AHS Aviation Handling Services GmbH, specializes in technical services encompassing DCS support, IT infrastructure management, and operational IT functions. As a key contributor to the aviation handling landscape in Germany, AHS Group has been offering passenger and aircraft handling services for seven decades. This role offers the flexibility of remote work upon request, independent of the AVIOVA office in Berlin-Schönefeld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee IT operations in the realms of network and security
- Configure and manage routers, switches, load balancers, VPN gateways, and DHCP/DNS systems
- Administer firewall systems, endpoint protection platforms, internet access, WAN, and WLAN networks
- Manage security and monitoring systems
- Provide second-level support and troubleshoot network issues
- Analyze and resolve security-related incidents
- Propose ongoing enhancements based on analytical insights and security events
- Develop and refine guidelines for network operations
- Document changes in IT infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Completed education in IT or equivalent professional experience
- Proficient knowledge and experience in networking
- Familiarity with firewall technologies
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Server operating systems
- Fluency in German
- Capacity to learn and adapt to emerging technologies
- Professional and service-oriented approach
- Previous experience in IT roles such as system administrator, network administrator, or IT security consultant
