Accounting and Financial Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant (m/f/d) to fill a parental leave replacement position at AVIAREPS in Frankfurt am Main.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the team on VAT pre-registrations, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process orders, invoices, payments, and dunning, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Reconcile and clarify accounts, including inter-company transactions, to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Verify and schedule incoming invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate financial records.
  • Settle expenses and perform general administrative tasks, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Correspond with clients and stakeholders in German and English, ensuring clear and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Completed commercial training or a comparable degree with a focus on finance and accounting.
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position, with a strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Very good German and English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Proficient in MS-Office programs, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software.
  • Sound practical knowledge of accounting programs, with the ability to apply financial principles and regulations.
