- As a key member of the global Process Owners Team, you will lead the design of Workday HCM processes, providing consultation, support, and training to the global HR community and the HCM team on configuration, architecture, and enhancements.
- You will act as the Subject Matter Expert and Project Manager for the redesign of Workday Security, as well as for the localization and enhancement of Workday HCM.
- Your responsibilities will include assessing and managing HCM and Security Change Requests across major countries and globally. This encompasses executing Proof of Concepts (HR-related and Workday views), planning projects/change requests (including reports), creating and leading design concepts and workshops, ensuring quality assurance (including test management), budget oversight, and training—all in close collaboration with internal and external implementation teams and relevant stakeholders.
- As the functional lead of the Workday Core Team, you will mentor junior consultants, define and monitor work packages, and guide configuration tasks with configuration consultants.
- Additionally, you will establish governance guidelines and tools to ensure the effective and efficient maintenance of Workday Core within your functional team.
- Qualifications:
- A degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in HR or IT management, process design and engineering, employee lifecycle management, project management, and process optimization.
- More than 5 years of hands-on experience in configuring Workday HCM and Security, with extensive knowledge of intersection security, business process configuration, and advanced reporting.
- Successful completion of Workday training and possession of Workday certifications.
- A solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
