IT Senior Specialist Planner

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Senior Specialist Planner. As a key member of our IT Office Build-Out Team, you will play a critical role in planning and implementing IT infrastructure projects for SAP offices in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate IT sub-projects for new and renovation projects of SAP offices
  • Ensure network standards of SAP IT in planning, conception, and implementation in construction projects
  • Create requirement catalogs and tender documents
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, external planners, and service providers
  • Collaborate with departments from Facility, Physical Security, IT, and LoBs
  • Conduct risk analyses and develop measures to minimize risks
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and legal regulations
Requirements
  • Education/degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in planning and implementing network technology projects and in project management
  • In-depth knowledge in the areas of network technology, IT infrastructure, and construction
  • Experience in creating technical specifications and tender documents
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Openness to new ideas and the passion to convince others of them
  • Fluent English and German language skills oral and written
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the IT and network environment
