• Your primary role will involve the inpatient management of patients within the realms of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. You will engage in conservative and postoperative care related to fractures, joint surgeries, and joint replacements, particularly for patients with advanced skeletal disorders.
• Collaborative Care: Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Your involvement in team discussions will contribute to the development and execution of interdisciplinary treatment strategies.
• Therapeutic Planning: Create personalized therapy plans based on thorough diagnostics, including medication management and conservative treatment approaches. You will monitor patient progress and modify rehabilitation strategies as necessary.
• You will independently perform all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, with a specialist colleague available to guide you throughout your training until you are equipped to manage cases autonomously.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about proposed treatment plans, prevention strategies, and rehabilitation options. Empowering patients through counseling on lifestyle modifications and self-management techniques is a crucial aspect of your role.

• A completed degree in Human Medicine is required.
• A German medical license is preferred.
• Effective communication skills with patients and a strong understanding of your responsibilities as a physician (German language proficiency at C1 level).

• A training position as a Junior Physician with authorization in Internal Medicine for a duration of 12 months. The Geriatrics training program spans 18 months, allowing you to achieve full qualification as a Geriatrician.
