Your Responsibilities
If Cyber Security is your area of expertise, become a part of KPMG, the clear choice for Cyber Security, and engage in the following:
- Evaluate and advise organizations on IT security, manage security projects, and develop new services and areas of focus.
- Conduct IT vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations of information security incidents, while enhancing internal security methodologies and standards.
- Create security frameworks, perform audits, and oversee the organization-wide implementation of security management systems in accordance with BSI IT-Grundschutz (200-1) or ISO 27001.
- Implement measures, lead awareness campaigns, and manage emergency response systems (e.g., according to BSI).
- Introduce and optimize concepts and processes in access management (Identity and Access Management).
- Act as the primary contact for our clients, lead projects and teams, represent the team's outcomes, and facilitate client meetings.
- Support business and thematic development at KPMG.
- Actively participate in acquiring new clients.
- Contribute significantly to the growth of the Cyber Security division through the acquisition of new clients and the development of existing ones.
- Team building and personnel management will also be part of your responsibilities.
- To become a (Senior) Cyber Security Manager (w/m/d) with us, you should possess a degree in (Business) Informatics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field.
- You have several years of professional experience in IT security or IT security management within a reputable consulting firm or an industrial company.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of Cyber Security and have relevant experience in integrating organizational and technical IT security issues.
- Your focus is on security management according to BSI IT-Grundschutz or ISO 27001, security frameworks, firewall architectures, and security awareness.
- Experience with VSA requirements (security protection) will be advantageous for your role.
- You demonstrate teamwork, client orientation, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ideally, you hold certifications such as BSI Auditor (Lead Auditor for ISO 27001 audits based on IT-Grundschutz), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or are motivated to obtain them.
- You also bring solid project management skills and fluent German and English language proficiency.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility complete your qualifications.
