About the Job

We are currently seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Manching. As an Aerospace Engineer, you will be responsible for defining industrial requirements and carrying out trade-off analyses to optimize the industrial product definition. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the product manufacturing structure and definition of MAIT technologies, industrial resources, and production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Design Engineering Office to define industrial requirements and carry out trade-off analyses to optimize the industrial product definition.
  • Develop and maintain the product manufacturing structure and definition of MAIT technologies, industrial resources, and production processes.
  • Carry out process simulations and monitor process sequences.
  • Develop and implement innovative tool concepts and define manufacturing and assembly processes in accordance with customer requirements and ergonomic standards.
  • Manage and monitor contractual relationships to ensure on-time delivery in terms of cost and quality in cooperation with the relevant supply chain.
  • Provide technical leadership and operational support to the MAIT production system to continuously improve processes and reduce costs and lead times.
  • Support industrial research and innovation in the area of FAL & MRO, especially in the implementation of technological advances at store floor level.

Requirements

  • At least a Master's or Diploma degree in engineering, aerospace, or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in aerospace and project management.
  • Sound knowledge of production planning and manufacturing engineering is required.
  • Experience with the Eurofighter program is an advantage.
  • Sound specialized knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
  • Knowledge of SAP OPAL is required.
  • Business fluent English and good German language skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliability and commitment to work in an international team.
  • Service-oriented way of working and high customer focus.
