At SafeNow, a pioneering startup from Munich, we're dedicated to providing safety for all, free of charge. Our app connects users with trusted contacts in emergency situations, ensuring safety and freedom go hand in hand. We're a diverse team of 22 employees from 8 different nationalities, all united by a common goal of making the world a safer place.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct In-Depth User Research: Lead exploratory interviews to gain a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.
- Develop Comprehensive User Journeys: Structure app design through detailed sketches and wireframes.
- Design and Test User Interfaces: Create clickable prototypes, gather feedback, and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the product team to ensure design decisions align with user and business requirements.
- Establish Design Standards: Develop design systems and best practices for consistent design across platforms.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UX/UI design for mobile apps.
- Strong understanding of research methods and the ability to mentor junior team members.
- Passion for safety and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent teamwork and empathy skills, particularly with sensitive user needs.
- Fluency in both German and English.
