Your Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Specialist, you will manage the daily transportation operations for a key client. Your role will involve:
- Planning and coordinating daily transport activities and ensuring timely deliveries to clients.
- Managing administrative processes related to bookings.
- Serving as the primary contact for logistics partners and clients regarding order inquiries.
- Addressing customer requirements and ensuring compliance with distribution protocols and documentation.
- Overseeing and tracking all shipments to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Facilitating express delivery options when necessary.
- Preparing for and managing peak operational periods.
- Analyzing logistical challenges and developing effective solutions.
- Resolving issues and complaints with a proactive approach.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Alternatively, a completed commercial apprenticeship in forwarding and logistics services.
- Several years of relevant experience in commercial office settings, preferably within the logistics industry.
- Demonstrated self-initiative, adaptability, and resilience in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work in a structured and organized manner, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Proactive and solution-focused mindset.
- Fluency in German; proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, including pivot tables and macros.
- Familiarity with SAP and TMS tools is a plus but not essential.
