IT Vendor and Governance Management Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Vendor and Governance Management Consultant to join our team at ALDI International Services SE & Co. oHG. As a key member of our Shared Services team, you will be responsible for leading the further development and implementation of governance frameworks within vendor management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure effective vendor management
  • Organize and conduct workshops to refine and adjust governance frameworks to meet changing business needs
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure governance frameworks are aligned with business objectives
  • Chair, administer, and coordinate governance meetings, including documenting and communicating agendas, minutes, and action items
  • Provide support on escalations, service level agreements (SLAs), and other issues related to vendor management
Requirements
  • Degree or similar qualification, as well as experience in a comparable position that provides a solid understanding of IT procurement or project management, governance, or similar professional work experiences in related fields
  • Initial professional experience in IT procurement or project management, governance, or similar professional work experiences in related fields
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • Business-fluent in English
Desirable Extras
  • Experience in IT projects or management consulting
  • Previous experience in vendor management in one or more areas, such as contract negotiation, performance management, and escalation handling
  • German or additional languages are a plus
  • Experience in ServiceNow and Tableau
