Rhenus Assets & Services GmbH & Co. KG is a leading logistics provider with a global presence, operating in numerous countries. We specialize in managing intricate supply chains and delivering innovative value-added services to our clientele. We invite you to join our Corporate Procurement team as a Strategic Sourcing Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing procurement strategies that enhance our purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate, refine, and execute essential procurement policies and standards for Rhenus Assets & Services across German, European, and international markets.
- Establish processes to implement these global standards within the organization and oversee the assessment and adoption of appropriate software solutions.
- Lead diverse procurement projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing the procurement function.
- Assist in defining employee competencies and training programs in various procurement disciplines.
- Mentor, train, and guide team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with substantial experience in international procurement of services and materials.
- Demonstrated success in developing and enhancing procurement and contract standards.
- Proficiency in both German and English, with a strong sense of accountability and decisiveness in procurement activities.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach and a keen interest in processes and digital transformation.
- Ability to train, mentor, and share knowledge effectively.
