Operations Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to join our team at Neptune Energy. As an Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our resource extraction and production strategies.

• Develop and implement concepts and work programs for the execution of workover operations
• Conduct well-specific risk assessments and ensure the corresponding operational implementation
• Introduce and implement quality assurance systems, primarily in the area of underground equipment
• Analyze problems and define corresponding solution measures in relation to workover activities, as well as continuously optimize operational processes
• Coordinate the renovation and underground technology, including workover/well maintenance work, in coordination with the departments and specialist departments
• Obtain and evaluate well basis information and accompany the planning process of workover activities, as well as ensure the interfaces to the production operation
• Project processing and management, as well as creation of tenders, evaluation of offers, and application for funds (IBA)
• Creation of operation plans and other official permit applications

• Either: completed studies in the field of petroleum engineering or mining, as well as initial professional experience
• Or: completed technical training and further education to become a technician or shift leader in the oil or gas sector, combined with relevant professional experience
• IWCF Level 4 desirable
• Result-oriented and structured working style with a passion for continuous process optimization
• Excellent communication skills in German, as well as secure English skills
• Openness and communication skills in dealing with various stakeholders
• Team player with agile mindset and natural tendency to take on responsibility
• Enjoy working independently, as well as a high degree of flexibility
