Key Responsibilities:
Oversee test tasks in projects and system operation, manage test resources, and ensure result delivery.
- Plan and lead test management tasks in classical and agile projects according to ERGO-Test-Standard and ERGO-Vorgehensmodell, particularly for the process of consolidated financial statements under IFRS17.
- Manage test resource deployment and approach/strategy in test and test-support-services within respective system and project portfolio clusters.
- Lead employees within responsible system and project portfolio clusters.
- Responsibility for planning, conducting, and documenting tests, as well as test reporting.
- Preparation and leadership of meetings with committees and decision-makers, including creation of decision-making documents.
- Coaching young test managers and participation in ERGO-Test-Standards development.
Requirements:
An experienced team player with high levels of initiative.
- Completed studies or training in insurance, organization, mathematics, economics, business informatics, or computer science.
- Several years of experience in leading tests in projects, preferably with ISTQB certification.
- Good knowledge of relevant business processes and workflows, as well as methods, procedures, and processes of testing in IT projects.
- Knowledge and experience in IT planning, development, and testing methods and tools; practical experience with ERGO-used methods and tools is advantageous.
- Well-developed social skills and team ability, communication skills, initiative, result orientation, assertiveness, and sense of responsibility.
- Flexibility and resilience, preferably experience in collaboration with internationally distributed teams, particularly in India.
