About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capacity Planning Manager to join our Amazon Deutschland Transport GmbH team. As a key member of our Delivery Service Partner (DSP) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our logistics network operates smoothly and efficiently.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing robust capacity plans for our Delivery Service Partners (DSP). You will leverage data, performance standards, and cross-functional collaboration to build scalable processes that align DSP capacity with dynamic customer demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute capacity plans for DSPs, ensuring alignment with customer demand and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with partner acquisition teams to execute capacity plans and drive business growth.
  • Build scalable processes and tools to ingest inputs from various stakeholders and drive data-driven decision making.
  • Lead reviews with operations leaders to ensure capacity planning is aligned with business objectives and make recommendations for improvement.
About the Team

The EU Delivery Service Partner (DSP) team is responsible for managing and growing the network of professional contract organizations that power Amazon's in-house last mile delivery service. Our partners work out of delivery stations across EU and are assigned delivery routes and packages. The DSP Capacity Planning team is central to achieving the program objectives of DSP Last Mile Delivery.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, engineering, supply chain and logistics).
  • Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or distribution.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools such as R, Matlab, and SQL.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
