What We DoWe are seeking motivated staff members with a strong background in IT security to join our team in the Department of Testlab Mobile Security. We offer the opportunity to work on the secure development of applications for Apple's iOS operating system. The specific challenge is the reverse engineering of applications that are already in productive use.
We have two main areas of focus in iOS: systematic vulnerability analysis in the context of industrial projects, and the development of automated analyses for the Appicator framework. In both areas, we need support from motivated staff members who can bring their own ideas and work with us to develop new procedures.
What You Bring- You have a solid education in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- You have excellent knowledge of IT security, particularly in the area of mobile security.
- You have experience in software development for Apple iOS devices or are interested in acquiring this knowledge.
- You are familiar with reverse engineering.
- You have excellent language skills in German and English, both in writing and speaking.
- You are interested in challenging scientific problems from theory and practice.

The position is initially limited to 2 years, with the goal of long-term employment. The weekly working hours are 39 hours. The position can also be filled part-time.
