As a Senior Technology Manager at Eaton, you will have the opportunity to work on advanced technology projects, collaborate with a team of scientists and engineers, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute advanced technology projects leveraging German and European government funding with internal and external stakeholders
* Collaborate closely with a team of scientists and engineers specializing in various technology areas
* Encourage technology realization programs utilizing our internal project execution processes
* Facilitate communication and cooperation between Eaton locations in the region and globally
* Foster an environment for creativity while promoting the generation of value-added intellectual property

Requirements:

* PhD or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
* Industrial experience in power and energy systems area
* R&D experience in distributed energy resource (DER) integration and management, microgrid, power distribution systems modeling, analysis, monitoring, and control, protection, EV charging infrastructure, and its grid integration
* Experience in developing and executing EU and German government funded projects to advance research and product development in power and energy systems area
* Experience in managing lab/experimental infrastructure including both power and control hardware in the loop testing facilities
* Program management - new product development innovation process
* Communication and presentation skills in English and German (oral and written)
