We are in search of a skilled Senior Associate, Finance & Strategy to become a vital part of our team that supports the global Operations and Quality function.

The Operations and Quality team is accountable for overseeing our worldwide courier operations, support systems, and ensuring trust and safety. This function guarantees an optimal balance of courier supply, enhances operational efficiency, and aids courier partners in achieving more with equitable compensation. The Finance & Strategy segment within Operations and Quality is a compact yet impactful team that plays a crucial role in Wolt's strategic and financial success. This team manages the profit and loss statement for Operations and Quality from a financial standpoint, and you will be instrumental in assisting leadership in crafting a forward-looking vision, establishing ambitious objectives, and aiding the organization in achieving them. A significant aspect of your role will involve enhancing the efficiency of our Operations and Customer Support, which is a key driver of profitability and future success for Wolt. Your responsibilities will encompass performance monitoring, financial model development, data analysis, and delivering insightful business intelligence for informed decision-making. As a member of this team, you will serve as a financial and strategic partner for the global Operations and Quality functions at Wolt.

This team collaborates closely with the global Finance & Strategy division and works in tandem with our Global Head of Operations and Quality. Your role will also require close cooperation with accounting, analytics, product, and local market teams. Our finance and analytics departments provide a wealth of high-quality data for your analysis, and you will jointly refine our reporting and data frameworks with them to enhance our capabilities. There are exciting opportunities in product development, and you will engage in this work, assisting in prioritizing our initiatives as we unlock further potential for success through technology. Ultimately, our regional and local markets are responsible for executing these plans, and you will work closely with them to transform our visions into reality.

  • Facilitate the establishment of financial and strategic objectives, along with ongoing support and guidance for our Operations and Quality leadership.
  • Analyze trends, variances, and key performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Create financial models and scenarios to aid in business planning and decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports, forecasts, and budgets for Operations and Quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to comprehend business drivers and influence decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial reporting and analysis tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial assessments.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests as necessary.
  • Engage in the ongoing enhancement of precise and effective financial reporting for Operations and Quality, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data and adherence to accounting standards and policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in a highly analytical role such as financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or management consulting, preferably within the operations or technology sector.
  • Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Looker, Power BI), with experience handling large datasets.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and concisely.
