- Collaborate with IT/Technology Leadership to synchronize strategic IT initiatives with Procurement strategies and organizational goals.
- Analyze the IT supplier contract portfolio to identify opportunities for synergy, expiring agreements, and areas for optimization.
- Oversee supplier identification, assessment, selection, and contract negotiation processes to secure advantageous terms.
- In collaboration with IT leadership, manage supplier relationships and performance through regular evaluations, KPI monitoring, and improvement initiatives.
- Promote continuous enhancement initiatives to improve Procurement processes, efficiency, and effectiveness within the IT category.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the IT supply chain, including geopolitical, financial, and operational challenges.
- Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices, supplier selection, and contract management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and best practices in IT procurement to maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is advantageous.
- Approximately seven years of demonstrated experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management roles, ideally within a multinational environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud solutions, and telecommunications.
- Familiarity with contract law, procurement regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and implementing cost-saving strategies.
- Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in German considered a plus.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, conduct financial assessments, and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional project management, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to change with a focus on continuous improvement.
