We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Software Engineer to join our Foreign Trade Solutions team at BASF Digital Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and maintain SAP software applications and systems, ensuring they are functional, reliable, and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop SAP software applications and systems, including SAP GTS and SAP GTS, edition for SAP HANA
- Write code, conduct testing, and resolve issues to ensure software quality and compliance with BASF guidelines
- Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet user or client needs
- Apply expertise in agile working methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with SAP GTS in the modules of Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management
- Excellent programming expertise in ABAP, ABAP-OO, SAP UI5, and Fiori Elements
- Excellent communication skills in English; language skills in German are a plus
