We're seeking a talented Java Developer to join our team at 1&1 Mail & Media Applications SE. As a key member of our data unit, you'll play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our internal analytics toolset.

About the Role

As a Java Developer, you'll design, develop, and test new functionalities for our analytics and data integration platform. You'll work closely with our business intelligence teams to ensure our platform meets the requirements of modern business users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new features for our analytics platform using Java Spring, Kubernetes, Hadoop, Impala, Kafka, and other Big Data technologies.
  • Scale and optimize the platform for large data sets and billions of events from our portals GMX, WEB.DE, and others.
  • Review data pipelines submitted by platform users and ensure the platform is used in line with our strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new software features and deliver high-quality results.
