PhD Researcher in Acoustic Engineering

The PhD project focuses on reducing the noise of eBike drive units to make them as silent as conventional bikes.
The project involves analyzing the transfer path of structure-borne noise, which is a complex and partially understood phenomenon in the mobility industry.
Our goal is to combine the strengths of physical understanding and artificial intelligence to raise NVH possibilities in eBike drive units to another level.
We are looking for a PhD candidate with a strong background in mechanical engineering, physics, or computer science, and a strong motivation to learn in other areas.
The successful candidate will work on an innovative and forward-looking project, collaborating with various interdisciplinary teams and being supported by a network of experts.
Key qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant field, strong background in theoretical mechanics, artificial intelligence, or related areas, and excellent written and spoken English skills.
