Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide active and supportive care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care.
- Help minimize risks and prevent accidents by implementing proactive measures and reporting any concerns to the care team.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure their needs are met.
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and autonomy, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner, using our electronic care planning system.
- Organize and participate in internal and external activities, events, and programs that promote resident engagement and socialization.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of resident care.
- Education and training in healthcare or a related field (e.g., nursing, social work, or gerontology).
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a care assistant or support worker role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to care delivery.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on resident-centered care.
- Proficiency in German language (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
