We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Business Continuity Manager.
About the Role:
As a Junior Business Continuity Manager, you will be responsible for creating and sustaining our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) for regulated entities in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a risk-based approach to BCMS, ensuring consistency with organizational objectives.
- Support business and support functions in developing effective and compliant business and IT resilience and recovery strategies.
- Report findings to management and assist in trend analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss and track the implementation of mitigation plans.
- Contribute to ensuring compliance with internal and external BCMS requirements, such as ISO 22301, GDPR, or any relevant industry standards.
- Participate in planning and conducting third-party exercises related to business continuity and disaster recovery in the context of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
Requirements:
- Completed studies in risk management, information systems, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Background in Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS), preferably in regulated sectors, with a focus on IT/Tech resilience and recovery approaches.
- Foundational knowledge of BCMS standards (ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27031), risk assessment, and business impact analysis.
- Familiarity with best practices around crisis management, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Strong communication skills in both German and English.
- Passion about organizational resilience, risk management, IT recovery strategies, and business continuity.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 25%) when needed.
