Join Our Team as a Test Operations Engineer

At OSB AG, we are looking for a dedicated professional who is ready to take on the challenge of ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our testing systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential support for simulation and testing tool suites necessary for the validation and verification of helicopter developments, particularly in avionics.
  • Act as the primary contact for users of the testing systems, ensuring their availability and stability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate within a dynamic, quality-focused team, working alongside subcontractors to maintain operational tools.
  • Oversee the availability of testing systems and monitor their performance and services.
  • Proactively resolve identified issues, investigate root causes, and coordinate support activities for avionics development testing systems.
  • Ensure accurate diagnostics of avionics systems and testing tools, including hardware, software, IT infrastructure, and processes, to maintain high availability rates.
  • Gather and specify functional requirements, validating the tool suite within its operational context.
  • Develop smaller tools to assist in maintenance activities and manage the installation of new tool suites.
  • Manage the diagnosis and resolution of issues related to avionics testing systems.
  • Monitor the hardware and software of testing systems, ensuring the implementation of necessary measures.
  • Collaborate with IT for adequate support and work with the development team to represent local requirements.
  • Responsible for the development, integration, maintenance, and support of test scenarios for end users.
  • Provide back-office support for development and drive continuous improvement of testing systems and processes to enhance user efficiency.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in engineering, aerospace technology, avionics, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in engineering with initial exposure to project management.
  • Experience in support roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with simulations, software tools, and avionics is essential.
  • Proficient in Windows and UNIX/Linux environments, as well as MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C, and C++ is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to compliance with standards and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in international collaboration and willingness to travel.
  • Fluent in German and English, with additional proficiency in French being a plus.
