Job Description

Coltène/Whaledent GmbH + Co. KG is a global company that develops, manufactures, and distributes dental consumables and small instruments. We have modern production facilities in Switzerland, Germany, France, the USA, and Canada, as well as sales organizations around the world.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Chemical Product Engineer in Medical Technology (m/f/d) at our production site in Langenau (Ulm region).Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of innovative medical products
  • Lead Change Control Teams
  • Develop test methods and the corresponding test equipment
  • Perform and document product testing
  • Responsible for selecting suitable raw materials in the context of development projects
  • Develop specifications for the production of new products in the context of design transfers
  • Prepare test instructions, test reports, and specifications
  • Support production in optimizing existing and implementing new production procedures
Requirements
  • Education as a chemical laboratory assistant or CTA with several years of professional experience, knowledge of coating technology desirable
  • High level of self-initiative, hands-on mentality, reliable, structured, and proactive working style, good time management
  • Communication and team skills
  • Open-minded personality with a sense of discovery
  • Enjoy leading smaller projects
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Good German and English in writing and speaking
