We're on a mission to democratize wealth, and we're looking for a talented Senior Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key contributor to our accounting organization, you'll have the opportunity to shape our accounting policies and ensure their rigorous documentation and adoption.
About the Role
- Develop and implement accounting policies across all business areas, ensuring compliance with HGB, IFRS, and RechKredV.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define applicable accounting standards and support new product development.
- Lead the continuous development of our accounting standards, including local GAAPs and IFRS conversion.
- Drive conversations with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, financial services, audit, or a comparable position in a top-tier accounting/advisory firm.
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge, including experience with group reporting/consolidation.
- Experience in the financial services/banking sector or a fintech startup with in-depth knowledge of relevant banking-specific topics and accounting complexities.
- Self-starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high-growth organization.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex accounting topics succinctly.
