Position Overview

MKS Instruments Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Senior Operations Controller Finance (f/m/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial success of our projects, managing project controlling for initiatives ranging from small to large-scale investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project controlling through comprehensive monitoring of project data, ensuring adherence to internal and SOX guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed global project reports and conduct audits in collaboration with management.
  • Coordinate and document financially relevant data, reporting to corporate headquarters and supporting management in financial matters.
  • Conduct monthly revenue provisions, assess receivables, and perform impairment tests.
  • Collaborate closely with international stakeholders and corporate accounting teams, including interaction with auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with financial processes and reconciliation calculations according to US-GAAP/HGB/tax regulations.
  • Prepare and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Coordinate forecasts for the global area and manage tax/process-related issues across countries.
  • Develop financial results presentations for management.
  • Analyze and provide insights on Working Capital Management.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated solution-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, with a diplomatic approach.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and comprehension skills.
  • Several years of relevant experience in project controlling, preferably in an international context.
  • Degree in business administration or a related field.
