Key Responsibilities
  • Consult Development Teams: Promote best practices in test automation and advocate for early testing methodologies.
  • Comprehend Code Flow: Acquire a thorough understanding of the interaction between code and data across various components.
  • Interpret Requirements: Analyze project documentation, customer needs, and product objectives to create and implement test cases.
  • Manage Test Automation: Establish, maintain, and execute automated testing frameworks for Mobile, Desktop, and Web applications, developing comprehensive test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct Manual and Exploratory Testing: Effectively assess new features with user experience in mind to ensure timely delivery.
  • Investigate and Document Bugs: Collaborate with the technical support team to examine customer issues, test bugs, and manage bug documentation.
  • Facilitate Technical Communication: Ensure clear communication with stakeholders and gain a deep understanding of their systems.
  • Collaborate on Product Design: Work closely with deployment teams to resolve system-level challenges and provide insights on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
  • Document Testing Activities: Maintain records of all testing efforts in daily and weekly reports.
  • Analyze and Enhance Systems: Deconstruct software systems for analysis and collaborate with other teams to improve overall design.
  • Research and Upgrade Practices: Stay informed about testing tools, methodologies, and trends to continuously enhance existing practices and processes.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance: Oversee the final quality assurance of production releases.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Typescript and Cypress for developing robust automated tests.
  • Experience in Load Testing using K6 or similar tools.
  • Expertise in API Testing (GraphQL and REST APIs) utilizing Postman or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, techniques, and approaches to guarantee comprehensive test coverage.
  • Good grasp of risk-based testing to identify critical issues.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Ability to align working hours with the Americas (approximately 2 PM CET to 11 PM CET).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential risks and suggest improvements.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated: Enjoy collaborating with the team while taking ownership of individual tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills: Ability to balance quality with speed and meet deadlines.

Additional Advantages:
