Trainee in Industrial Engineering at Battery Production (m/f/d)

Location: Leipzig, DE

Employment Type: Full-time

Contract Type: Temporary

Duration: 6 months

Department Overview:

The Maintenance department at the Battery Production facility focuses on the upkeep and troubleshooting of the fully automated battery manufacturing line, which encompasses a variety of processes and technologies. The team also collaborates with various departments on projects, such as optimizing production and logistics systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in data management alongside the ramp-up in the facility
  • Active participation in agile project management using the "Scrum" methodology
  • Supporting process optimization initiatives in a highly automated manufacturing environment
  • Contributing to KPI monitoring
  • Assisting in addressing technical and/or organizational challenges
  • Helping with tasks aimed at enhancing workflows regarding technical and economic optimization potentials in the maintenance context

What You Should Bring:

  • Engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Technology) or a comparable field of study
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)
  • Strong communication skills, initiative, and teamwork orientation
  • Excellent German and good English language skills
