Job Title: Service Owner

Join Siemens AG as a Service Owner and take charge of designing, implementing, and managing microsegmentation strategies within a Zero Trust network. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the security of our network infrastructure and play a crucial role in shaping our company's security architecture.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sophisticated microsegmentation strategies to enhance network security and ensure a Zero Trust approach.
  • Define and enforce security policies that meet the highest standards and proactively monitor network traffic to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure that security measures align seamlessly with the company's overall security objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while staying updated on the latest developments and trends in microsegmentation and Zero Trust network security.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to team members, taking ownership of their professional development.
  • Act as a trusted advocate for business interests within the IT organization, promoting IT solutions that support business success.
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of projects and services, and support IT Partner Managers, IT Business Consultants, and IT Project Managers in your role.
  • Report to the Head of the Service Group for Local Connectivity.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Information Technology or a similar qualification paired with long-term experience in IT.
  • Over 5 years of experience in network administration and management, with a focus on LAN infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Ideal certifications include Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Experience in handling international teams and applying Service Management and ITIL processes.
  • Technical background, preferably with experience in the technology industry, particularly in network services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work optimally with multi-functional teams. Proficient English language skills (spoken and written) are required; German language skills are a plus.
