Digital Security Analyst

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d) to become a vital part of our portfolio company. This role is centered around evaluating clients' cyber vulnerabilities to provide actionable insights for enhanced security measures.
In this position, you will serve as a crucial link between the cybersecurity and commercial teams, acting as a client-facing expert in the field of cyber security.

Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough evaluations of clients' cyber risks and determine the maturity of their information security practices, delivering findings through engaging presentations.
- Contribute to the development of innovative cybersecurity products, including vulnerability assessments, phishing simulations, and tabletop exercises.
- Enhance your understanding of cyber insurance requirements and assist the account management team as a security expert.
- Stay informed about the evolving cyber threat landscape and the latest strategies for risk mitigation.
- At least two years of experience in a cybersecurity position.
- Prior experience in cybersecurity consulting and conducting tabletop exercises.
- A comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, controls, and remediation strategies, familiar with frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, BSI rundschutz, OWASP ASVS, MITRE ATT&CK, and D3FEND.
- Basic programming skills in Python.
- Ability to articulate complex security threats clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Fluency in both German and English to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field.
This role is based in our Berlin office, and candidates must be eligible to work within the EU.
