We are seeking a highly skilled Capacity Planning Manager to join our Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize our transportation capacity, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery of packages to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and present growth strategies for Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) to drive business expansion and revenue growth
- Build and maintain partner profitability models and scenarios to inform business decisions
- Create and implement flex demand allocation tenets to drive operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain tractor utilization management models to identify opportunities for improvement
- Analyze data to generate forward-looking plans and present to senior stakeholders in the Operations business
- Design and implement visualization tools and dashboards to analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Develop and maintain internal dashboards to provide visibility into task-related data for colleagues
As a Capacity Planning Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to explore new opportunities for growth and program design. You will use your analytical skills to drive business decisions and your business acumen to help your team achieve their objectives. You will be expected to think critically and creatively to identify solutions to complex problems.
About the TeamAmazon's ATS team plays a critical role in our success, using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, to drive maximum efficiency in our transportation network. Our team is diverse and collaborative, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Operations Research, Business Analytics, or Supply Chain Management
- Proven experience working in an analytical role, driving business strategy and growth using strategy, operational knowledge, and analytical skills
- Relevant experience in analyzing large data sets, data quality, and data warehousing to identify improvement opportunities
- Relevant experience creating dashboards using Excel, SQL, Quicksight, and visualization tools
