Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Bosch Building Technologies team in the Energy and Building Solutions department. As a Geothermal Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Technical operations management, ensuring the reliability and availability of our geothermal power plants.
• Hands-on involvement in the operation and maintenance of our geothermal equipment, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Participation in 24/7 on-call duty.
• Compliance with relevant regulatory requirements for operations management.
• Close collaboration with our customers and external service providers.
• Contribution to the organization and execution of large-scale maintenance projects, such as thermal cycles, power plants, and district heating networks, in close coordination with our customers.
• Optimization of operational processes, plant operation, and cost efficiency.
• Leadership of the operations team.

Requirements

• Achieved a master's or technician's degree with a focus on electrical engineering.
• Hold a 30kV switch permit and a boiler operator's license (training by Bosch possible).
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, leadership and organizational skills, decision-making ability, and assertiveness in representing Bosch externally.
• Several years of experience in operating power plants, heat plants, geothermal plants, district heating systems, and leading teams.
• Hold a valid driver's license (Class B) and have good computer skills (MS Office).
