Your Role
- Assume full accountability for the execution of a designated green methanol or sustainable aviation fuel project in the Nordic region, guided by a clear mandate.
- Oversee project personnel, including the Project Business Case Manager and Technical Project Manager.
- Ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery of the project while adhering to established quality standards.
- Align project objectives with Uniper's legal, commercial, and governance frameworks.
- Identify, assess, and actively manage project risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Uphold Uniper's HSSE standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with various group functions that support project delivery, such as Controlling, Procurement, and Accounting.
- Facilitate the preparation and alignment of all necessary documentation for regular Project Committee meetings and key decision-making processes.
- Represent the project in the Project Committee.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration with other green fuels initiatives within the Green Fuels Nordic Department.
- Maintain active communication with key stakeholders and partners involved in the project.
Your Qualifications
- A university degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 7 years of experience in the energy sector, with a proven track record in senior project management roles for significant asset or commercial energy projects.
- Preferably, experience as a General Project Manager in large-scale energy asset projects.
- Strong conceptual and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience working in international teams.
- Exceptional teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse cultures and navigate a dynamic business environment.
- A proactive approach and determination to achieve set objectives.
