Role: Embedded Software Test Engineer

At OSB AG, we are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our team in the aviation industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough functional validation of aviation products through rigorous testing and analysis
  • Defining requirements for embedded software testing and related equipment to ensure seamless integration
  • Analyzing and evaluating verification data to identify areas for improvement
  • Creating comprehensive documentation to support testing and validation processes
  • Coordinating tasks within an agile team to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Evaluating, documenting, and communicating validation results to stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • Experience in software development and/or verification, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies
  • An analytical and structured approach to work, with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in MS-Office programs, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting
  • ISTQB qualification is highly desirable
  • Excellent German and English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively
