Senior Accounting Supervisor

We are collaborating with a prominent global service provider in the automotive sector. This organization offers a variety of products and services tailored for the automotive industry, including software solutions, financial services, fleet management, and data analytics. In response to the expansion in the German market, we are seeking an Accounting Manager (m/f/d) to become a vital part of their team. This is a newly created, permanent position with a hybrid work model (2-3 days in the office and 2-3 days remote).

Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as the Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller located in the UK. This is an independent role where you will oversee all financial and accounting activities within the German region.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Preparation of month-end and quarterly financial reports
  • Management of cash flow analysis and forecasting
  • Assistance in budget preparation and provision of monthly financial updates
  • Enhancement and development of financial systems and processes within the organization
  • Provision of financial management support to senior leadership
  • Monitoring of incoming payments
  • Acting as the primary liaison for local auditors, managing financial statement reporting, VAT compliance, and coordinating local tax submissions
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager position will possess relevant experience in a comparable role. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach, a hands-on attitude, and self-motivation.

Your qualifications should include:

  • A degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance management role
  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Experience in a B2B setting, preferably within an international company
