Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our client-facing team, you will collaborate closely with clients to design and implement innovative solutions leveraging Qdrant's vector database technologies. Your expertise will be invaluable in guiding clients through the adoption and integration of our products to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, providing expert guidance on best practices for integrating Qdrant's products into existing systems.
  • Solution Design: Architect scalable and efficient solutions utilizing Qdrant's vector database and cloud offerings, ensuring seamless integration with clients' existing infrastructure.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth guidance on vector search concepts, database systems, and machine learning frameworks, ensuring clients achieve optimal results.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Assist the sales team with technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects, showcasing the value of Qdrant's products.
  • Workshops & Training: Lead technical workshops and training sessions for clients and partners, sharing your expertise and ensuring successful adoption of Qdrant's technologies.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, including engineering and product development, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Feedback Contribution: Relay client feedback to influence product enhancements and roadmap, ensuring Qdrant's products meet the evolving needs of the market.
  • Industry Insight: Stay updated on the latest trends in vector search, machine learning, and database technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in solution architecture, technical consulting, or a similar role, with a strong background in databases, search engines, and machine learning.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of database systems, including vector databases and search engines like Elasticsearch or Solr.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or Java, with experience in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Open-Source Contribution: Experience contributing to open-source projects, with a strong understanding of collaborative development and community engagement.
  • Industry Experience: Background in AI-powered applications like recommendation systems, NLP, or computer vision, with a strong understanding of the latest trends and technologies.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, databases, or machine learning, demonstrating expertise and commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Distributed Systems Knowledge: Understanding of distributed computing and microservices architecture, with experience in designing and implementing scalable systems.
