ROLE OVERVIEW
We are in search of a dedicated Field Education Store Leader. In this capacity, you will represent Wella Company within various beauty retail environments, focusing on our esteemed brands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement educational initiatives for customers (stylists and consumers) and store personnel, prioritizing high-performing locations.
- Store Execution: Ensure exemplary store performance through regular visits and inventory assessments.
- Business Collaboration: Collaborate with district managers and store partners to enhance business outcomes.
- Training Facilitation: Participate in management meetings and lead training sessions.
- Brand Loyalty: Foster strong relationships with store staff to promote brand loyalty and drive sales.
- Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with stores regarding inventory issues and provide actionable solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Work with stores to enhance customer loyalty and attract new clientele through educational initiatives.
- Coaching: Mentor Brand Educators to ensure effective delivery of educational content.
- Event Coordination: Organize and execute top-tier educational events and promotional days.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of expenses, itineraries, and other required documentation.
- Budget Management: Plan and monitor the utilization of assigned budgets effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in a salon environment.
- A minimum of 2 years in teaching, demonstrating, or presenting.
- Possession of a valid cosmetology license.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the professional beauty industry, including color, cutting, and finishing techniques.
Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional presentation abilities.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain productive relationships with business partners.
- Awareness of current trends and developments in the beauty industry.
- Capacity to energize and engage peers, sales teams, and store personnel.
Management Competencies:
- Proficient in planning and managing time and resources effectively.
- Ability to set clear expectations and hold team members accountable.
- Adaptable to changing circumstances and capable of managing uncertainty.
- Innovative thinker who seeks improvement opportunities.
- Willingness to travel overnight 50% to 75% of the time.

- Proficiency in Spanish.
- Proximity to a major airport.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and extended hours.
- Ability to transport educational materials and samples.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Apple applications.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Strong credit history to qualify for a company travel expense card.
