As a (Junior) IT Security Consultant (m/f/d), you will assist our clients in safeguarding their sensitive corporate data against various IT security incidents. Whether in the realm of Cyber Security, IT Forensics, Data Protection, or Penetration Testing, your daily responsibilities will revolve around ensuring system security.
Your Responsibilities

- As an IT security specialist, you will analyze and document attacks and attack patterns, detect malware, and neutralize threats.
- Collaborating with your team, you will investigate IT security incidents and support the implementation of initial and countermeasures (e.g., incident response following a hacking attack).
- In the field of Digital Forensics, you will secure data and digital evidence, recover deleted information, and identify signs of economic crime.
- You will advise our clients on enhancing their responsiveness to security incidents, as well as on prevention and early detection strategies.
- Additionally, you will assist in the development and implementation of security strategies, conduct protection needs analyses, and risk assessments, and help establish security organizations.
- You will join us as a (Junior) IT Security Consultant (m/f/d) with a solid academic background in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences with an IT focus, or a comparable field of study.
- You possess initial practical experience in areas such as system administration, IT security, IT forensics, or evidence and disclosure management.
- You have foundational knowledge of IT infrastructures, particularly regarding networks, client/server, mail, database, and application server environments.
- Terms like Incident Response, Computer Forensics, eDiscovery, Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, or Intrusion Detection are familiar to you.
- You are a problem solver seeking new challenges.
- You are proficient in German at C1 level and in English at B2 level. Additionally, you are willing to travel to provide on-site consulting for our clients.
