As a Senior Consultant, you will perform on complex strategic Finance Transformation projects by leveraging your experience in Finance operations and functions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Completing all assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, conflict management, client and stakeholder management, and all other relevant aspects of the assignments
- Analyzing customer needs, developing innovative solution concepts, and actively contributing to pitches
- Providing support to existing clients while ensuring effective and efficient key account management and helping and coaching more junior project team members
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned tasks until completion
- Ensuring adequate development of team members via coaching, mentoring, personal development, and training
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Broad experience in Consulting or Project Management for more than 3 years, ideally in Finance Transformation projects within the insurance or financial services industry
- Extensive Finance expertise in at least one of the following areas: Accounting, Controlling, Risk Management, Actuarial, and/or Finance Operations
- A very good understanding of Accounting/Controlling processes and the ability to grasp complex issues quickly
- Experience in process optimization, preferably within Accounting and Controlling processes
- Strong analytical skills, strategical thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Preferably, SAP S4/HANA knowledge – either as a SAP user or ideally SAP implementation expertise
- A professional certification, such as CPA or CFA, would be considered a big plus
- Fluency in written and spoken English
