Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Weisstechnik. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the installation, administration, and operation of servers, storage, and backup systems globally in data centers and in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and operation of IT infrastructure, including automation, scripting, update management, monitoring, and health checks
  • Monitor cloud and on-premise IT infrastructures, identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and threats
  • Participate in and lead IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery
  • Develop and implement IT security measures to protect our systems and data
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, analyzing and resolving complex technical issues
  • Collaborate with departments and IT teams to provide technical guidance and support

Requirements:

  • Completed education in IT or related field
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and tools
  • Several years of experience in IT infrastructure operations
  • Understanding of IT security, scripting, and automation
  • Initiative, analytical thinking, communication skills, team player, service-oriented
  • Fluency in German and English
