Job Description

E.ON Energy Projects GmbH is a leading company in the design, financing, building, operation, and optimization of decentralized, large-scale power generation plants for industrial customers.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Head of Global Procurement Management. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Project Lead: Develop and implement commercial strategies for large-scale carbon capture projects, ensuring compliance with international laws and regulations.
  • Contract and Claim Management: Manage contracts and claims related to EPC and engineering projects, working closely with legal and technical specialists.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Process Link: Serve as a liaison between the project team and E.ON's central procurement department, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Controlling and Risk Management: Monitor and report on project budgets, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree or equivalent with a solid commercial background and knowledge of international contract management and legal frameworks.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in commercial project and contract management, preferably in the energy industry or related sectors.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
