{"Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Tooling Specialist to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the initial start-up and processing of all molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment. Key Responsibilities * Participate in the set-up and sampling of new, transferred, and modified molds. * Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process, including set-up and tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and workflow. * Work with production personnel and R&D to ensure molded components meet requirements, making adjustments as required. * Provide molded components in a timely manner. * Work with outside vendors to develop tooling and fixtures that result in the manufacturing of high-quality products. Additional Responsibilities * Follow Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Lean standards. Organization * Reports to: Technical Manager Qualifications * Minimum of at least 3+ years working in an injection molding environment specifically with molds. * Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Continuous Improvement culture. * Knowledge of electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation. Requirements * Some experience in manufacturing is preferred. * Basic math skills and good use of logic. * Excellent hand-eye coordination along with ability to work quickly and accurately for performing repetitive tasks. Competencies * Motivated individuals who want to work and will show up to their scheduled shifts on time and excited and ready to work. * High level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Priorities setting capabilities, time management, and flexibility. * PLC programming, Trouble shooting, and learning.
