Service Business Manager

As a Service Business Manager at Instron, you will be responsible for leading our IPS Team to achieve exceptional results in service revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Service Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase service revenue, penetrate competitor accounts, and recover previous customers.
- Customer Satisfaction: Foster strong relationships with key accounts, ensure timely response and support, and handle customer complaints effectively.
- Operational Efficiency: Manage the IPS Germany P&L, including inventory and forecasting, to achieve service revenue and margin targets.
- Team Leadership: Provide management and leadership to the German service team, ensuring goals are met and staff have the necessary skills to succeed.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the company's efforts to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance the customer experience using process improvement and the ITW Toolbox.
- Education: Degree level or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
- Language: Fluency in English and German.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, managing teams driven by objectives and financial targets.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of selling profitable and sustainable service products.
- Office and Field-Based: The role will require up to 60% travel, with a variety of office and factory environments.
